                          County 2009-10

         This Sunday 13th December is the second Curly Cup, to be held at Welshpool Social Club.

      It starts at 12 noon and involves teams of three, in groups all playing on a round robin basis. It's a fantastic format that all will enjoy and all proceeds will go to cancer charities.

      Team entry costs only £10.

      Please support this fantastic event and it would be nice to see Superleague players from every team represented, Ivy 'Curly' Annereau deserves a good turnout.

Updates will be on tomorrow (thanks Jan for the lead) All County averages on there way and a little bit of gloating (sorry Merseyside but it is our 1st win of the season).

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to view the site. Record hits for the last two days and once again sorry for little accessable info due to a very stupid webmaster who has to forget one thing a game!

M & R 22 Merseyside 14

All is well in the world again as M & R lifted themselves off the bottom of the >BDO Inter-Counties division table<.

The 22-14 victory moves the County only 8 points behind the table leaders. A full report on the weekends darts will be posted on Wednesday in the meantime all stats can be found here... >M & R 22 Merseyside 14<

Neil Astley wins on debut

   Wales cruised to victory in the third Celtic cup and Neil Astley won the final game of a 13-0 rout of The Isle of Man. Gareth Holt finished the weekend unbeaten winning all three of his games.

News: Neil Astley to represent Wales

   Congratulations to M & R's own Welsh Pride who will represent Wales today in the Celtic Cup being played in Cardiff. He joins Gareth Holt in the team, Tiny won his game yesterday and Neil will either play against the Republic of Ireland or Isle of Man or both.    Belated congratulations to Ray Guthrie who won the recent open at Dolgellau. Our own Cariad beat a strong field and took out Welsh number one Martin Phillips on his way to winning the competition.

Reserves who want to play need to turn up, one place in both Ladies and Mens B teams will be chosen on the day. Recent results and Superleague averages between now and then will be taken into account and more often than not someone will fail to show.

Please support your County, we need a result and everyone to be fully behind the team.

     Superleague will be updated (Mens League 1) on Thursday if the two remaining sheets reach me by then.

     Reminder to all county players who have no walk on music, if you don't e mail adymandr@fsmail.net or text your song to 07717 504739 by Saturday 28th we'll decide what you walk on to!  This includes all reserves!!
